VPG and CGW

  1. VPG sits on AWS end of VPN connection

  2. CGW sits on customer end of VPN connection

  3. VPG supports incoming connections from multiple CGW

  4. VPG supports dynamic routing using BGP and static routing

  5. VPG/CGW can intiate Internet Key Exchange but VPG requires enabling additional options
