Zonal

- Allow choosing which zones to deploy resources to
- Failure in regional plane does not impact AZs

Local

- Generally for an industry e.g. M&E
- Any AWS Service
- Introduced on need basis
- Single digit ms latency
- To support data residency and local processing requirements

Outposts

- Less than 1ms latency
- Breadth of AWS Services
- Offered in Server and Rack Configuration
- Rack has more offerings
- 96 racks can be combined to pool resources
- To support data residency and local processing requirements
